The Nikolai Karpol Volleyball Academy became the first sports facility built in preparation for the 2023 World University Games.

The total area of ​​the academy is more than 9 thousand square meters. meters. According to the designers the Karpol Academy is a block of three buildings. One of them is used only for the training process. The second building is equipped with an arena with stands.The third building is a dormitory for 70 young volleyball players and educational and administrative premises. The training center operates on the principle of a boarding school where talented and promising volleyball players from all over the Sverdlovsk region live, train and study.

The architecture of the building has a modern style, and its facade is decorated with volleyball-themed elements.

To maintain a comfortable microclimate in the premises of the academy and to protect it against negative external influences insulated glass units from the X-ONE Climate Multi and X-ONE Protection Security line were manufactured.
